About WCP

Connor Hoffman

Connor Hoffman is the creator and mind behind WCP. Born on August 27th, he grew up playing with LEGO toys, and has been a fan ever since.

In 2001, Connor received his first BIONICLE set - the McDonalds Matoran Huki - and grew to love BIONICLE more than any other LEGO theme. For the entire 10-year lifespan of BIONICLE, he would collect as many sets he could get his hands on.

After BIONICLE's cancellation, Connor was inspired by the work of Shadowgear6335, and began to build BIONICLE MOCs, posting them on MOCPages along with backstories he wrote for them. At the same time, he discovered the Touhou Project series online, and was inspired by the music and characters of the franchise, which fed back into his BIONICLE MOCs and stories.

Eventually, Connor combined the backstories of many of the MOCs he built into one cohesive storyline, which officially started the Knight of Nights universe.

Connor also worked on several LEGO Star Wars stop-motion animations, which he would upload to his YouTube Channel under the name Wombat Combat Pictures. The channel name was born from his fascination with Australia thanks to the Ty the Tasmanian Tiger video game series he played as a kid.

Connor eventually switched from posting MOCs on MOCPages to posting them on YouTube, refocusing his channel on the BIONICLE theme.

In 2020, Connor won the MOC Building portion of the TTV Artakha Canonization Contest, inspiring the artwork that would later be canonized into BIONICLE Lore by Greg Farshtey.
