Long before the 'Prime' Universe was created, the Great Beings wandered the cosmic void aimlessly. Eventually, they discovered each other, which led them to realize the extent of their powers. In order to express themselves, they attempted to create unique bodies for themselves, but discovered that the void would rapidly destroy their creations in a process called Entropy.

After eons of experimentation, they discovered they could open pocket universes in the dimensions of space-time below them, and proceeded to create the multiverse, an exponentially expanding series of interwoven dimensions and timelines. Once inside the multiverse, the Great Beings could create to their hearts content. Three Great Beings volunteered to stay in the void in order to anchor and conceal the multiverse from destruction. Out of respect for these Great Beings, they where called Great Sages. This is the origin of the Great Sages known as 'Centia.'

After the multiverse was created, Centia built the Multiversal Anchor around the convergence point of all universes, and stayed behind in the void to monitor its condition, as the multiverse itself was concealed behind a quantum barrier. Despite the creation of the multiverse involving the cooperation of hundreds of Great Beings, the prospect of limitless creative freedom led to many of the Great Beings splintering across the multiverse to do their own thing, much to Centia's dismay.

Eventually, another Great Being would run across the Multiverse on accident. This Great Being was fascinated by the anomaly and wound up speaking to Centia, who allowed the Great Being to enter the multiverse to experiment. This Great Being would later become a Great Sage themselves, and came to call himself 'The Master.'

To this day, Centia remains at the core of the multiverse, selflessly protecting it from the unending tide of Entropy.

Abilities & Tools

As a Great Being, Centia is from a higher plain of reality, and is able to manipulate the universe around them. This allows them to create and destroy matter, energy, and spirits, but only from within the multiverse or a quantum barrier. They are unable to die, or be killed.

As a study, Centia is fascinated by universes, as they were among the some of the first to discover their abilities to manipulate spacetime. They became renowned as Great Sages due to their selfless actions, and they refer to themselves as the 'Great Sages of Unity.' 

Centia constructed a complex device around the convergence point of all universes called a Multiversal anchor. Centia can fuse with the anchor to more closely monitor the stability of the multiverse. The anchor exists outside the multiverse and is protected from Entropy by a quantum barrier, and powered by Centia's own creation energy.

Centia also created several crystal 'Planetary Apertures,' which are spherical space-time windows into the multiverse that can relay the state of any planet in the multiverse at any point in time. The apertures are extremely dense & heavy, so they can be swung around by the chain and used as weapons if need be.

When Centia's power is combined with that of another Great Being, they gain the ability to imprison a Great Being within an orb of space-time, which can only be undone if two or more Great Beings combine their power again.

Kanohi, the Great Being of Emotion, created the Kanohi Pakari based on Centia's appearances. The mask was given the power to greatly enhance the user's strength, based on Centia's incomparable strength in anchoring the multiverse in place.

Personalities

Centia is known to be comparable to the most caring and supportive Great Beings of all time. During the multiverse's creation, they were all in favor of uniting as many Great Beings toward a common goal. 

Centia is quirky, and eccentric, and seems to flip personalities constantly. Despite holding a title as prestigious as Great Sages of Unity, they resent the idea of authority, choosing to instead adopt an open-minded approach to leadership - allowing the Great Beings to govern themselves as individuals.

Centia is known for their selflessness, which is why they were granted the title of Great Sages. However, their selfless nature may stem from the fact that Centia struggles to know their own sense of self. Despite making their own body, they share the same standard  appearance besides color, and they seem to swap personalities between themselves constantly. Many Great Beings struggle to comprehend this, and many wonder if Centia should be considered one Great Being, instead of multiple.
