Cajdan fought as a mercenary during Luna Magna's Mining War, while still just a Matoran. When Gringat established the Kingdom of Luna Magna and began to win the Mining War, he recruited Cajdan, and used moonlight energy crystals to transform him, and several other Matoran, into Toa.

Due to his rare elemental powers for a Luna Magnan, Cajdan was quickly given a position of prominence within the Luna Magnan Royal Army, and eventually rose to become the Captain of the Guard. He held this position for years, until the Dimensional relocation of Luna Magna, where a dimensional rift opened in the sky and pulled the Luna Dial - and eventually the entire planet - into the Prime Universe. King Gringat originally blamed Cajdan for the loss of the Luna Dial, and banished him in a fit of rage. Cajdan managed to escape into the nearby deserts of Luna Magna using his Mask of Speed.

Now as a fugitive to the Kingdom, Cajdan remains in hiding in the desert, where he lies in wait to take revenge against the Kingdom that betrayed him. He is known to guide lost Matoran out of the deserts and back to the Kingdom, usually at great risk to his own safety.

Abilities & Tools

As a Toa of Fire, Cajdan can create, control, and absorb Fire and Fire Elemental energy. He can also resist extremely hot temperatures and absorb heat.

As a Luna Magnan, Cajdan has the ability to control the Element of Moonlight locked within him. However, this ability can only be used after extremely strenuous training, which Cajdan has not finished.

Cajdan carries a Flaming Greatsword and Twin Scissor Blades. All of his weapons are able to burst into flames, but his Scissor Blades can also be thrown, or combined into a giant scissor. 

Cajdan covers his mask with a scarf to help hide is identity and protect against sandstorms.

Cajdan wears a Kanohi Kakama, the Great Mask of Speed, which was re-forged to resemble a Noble Kanohi Ruru.

Personality

Cajdan is typically blunt and brash, and has a bit of a temper, primarily due to his situation. Although he has been vilified by the Kingdom of Luna Magna, he remains dedicated to the life of a Toa, and won't hesitate to help someone in need, even if it gets him into trouble. He is also very astute, and he dislikes when things don’t go his way.
