Chilluno fought as a mercenary during Luna Magna's Mining War, while still just a Matoran. When Gringat established the Kingdom of Luna Magna and began to win the Mining War, he recruited Chilluno, and used Moonlight energy crystals to transform her, and several other Matoran, into Toa.

Through her skill in battle, Chilluno rose to the top of her Toa peers, and established her place as the First Officer of the Luna Magnan Royal Army. Things remained the same for many years until the Dimensional Relocation of Luna Magna, a disaster which displaced the planet of Luna Magna into the Prime Universe. In response to this, Gringat reorganized the top ranks of his army, and tasked Chilluno with focusing solely on training to become even stronger in order to protect the Kingdom’s main symbol of power: The Legendary Luna Dial.

Eventually, Chilluno unlocked her inherent ability to manipulate Moonlight Elemental Energy, and she now stands guard before the Luna Dial's chamber. The only thing that would relieve her of her post, is the destined holder of the Luna Dial successfully navigating the artifact's treacherous bunker, and defeating her in combat.

Abilities & Tools

As a Toa of Ice, Chilluno can create, control, and absorb Ice and Ice Elemental energy. She can also resist extremely cold temperatures and freeze the moisture in the air.

After extensive training, she unlocked the ability to create, control, and absorb the element of Moonlight. This ability is inherent within every Luna Magnan, but Chilluno is one of the few to complete the training required to use it.

By combining both of her elemental powers, Chilluno can create reflective crystalline ice structures and focus Moonlight through them, allowing her to create deadly mazes of refracting Moonlight energy beams and icicles.

Chilluno doesn’t carry any traditional Toa equipment or tools and would rather create weapons out of ice. She typically fights with arm-mounted Ice blades. She can also create wings out of ice to boost the effectiveness of her mask power.

Chilluno wears a Kanohi Miru, the Great Mask of Levitation, which was re-forged to change its appearance.

Personality

Chilluno has a very focused, determined personality. While she is rather cunning and ruthless during combat, outside of battle she seems light-hearted and friendly. She values relationships above all else, both professional and personal. She also treasures and idealizes the legacy of her Kingdom greatly. So much so, that it could almost be considered obsessive. This may be one of the reasons Gringat specifically chose her to be the Guardian of the Luna Dial.
