Muras was a Ga-Matoran originally from Metru Nui. She left the island after saving up enough widgets to hire a crew and purchase a trade ship, which she named 'The Palanquin' based on its boxy shape.

As Muras traveled the Matoran Universe, she came into contact with many organizations and beings, and eventually became a well known and reputable trader. Some of her contacts included the Nynrah Ghosts, the Brotherhood of Makuta, and the corporate alliances of Xia. 

Muras' business eventually led her to encounter a caravan of weapons dealers led by a Fe-Matoran named Parax. Muras and Parax became good friends, and they regularly did business with each other. One day, after Muras traded with the caravan on the island of Stelt, the Brotherhood of Makuta launched an attack on the caravan, killing all except a single Matoran named Knoxus. 

Muras spotted the attack from a distance, and began sailing back to Stelt. She and her crew pulled Knoxus from the Protodermis Sea, but when Muras was informed that the Brotherhood was behind the attack, she chose not to get involved, fearing for her and her crew's safety.

Muras agreed to return Knoxus to Stelt, but only after making a stop at the Southern Continent. They proceeded to travel first to the Northern Continent, where Muras heard a rumor that the Makuta were currently on the island. She then fled toward the Southern Continent.

Just before arriving at the Southern Continent, a massive storm hit The Palanquin, caused by the Great Cataclysm. The storm proved to be too much for the Palanquin, and Muras and her crew went down with the ship. Knoxus was the only survivor, and found himself trapped within Karda Nui after being pulled in to a maelstrom.

Abilities & Tools

As a Ga-Matoran, Muras had very limited control over Water.

Muras owned and captained The Palanquin trade ship, which she used to travel the Matoran Universe selling and bartering various wares.

Muras would sometimes wield a pair of anchors as weapons during trade disputes or when defending against pirates. 

Muras wore a Kanohi Komau, the Noble Mask of Mind Control, which she was unable to use as a Matoran.

Personality

Muras was a tough and commanding captain, and was greatly respected by her crew. She was also empathetic of the struggles of others, and would offer assistance to those in need.

Although she was kind-natured, Muras also got annoyed quite easily.
