Many years after the founding of the Kingdom of Luna Magna, a mysterious Red Moonlight Energy Crystal emerged from the center of the Great Palace of Luna Magna in the middle of the night. King Gringat discovered the crystal, which was similar to the one that had transformed him into a Toa. Encased within the crystal was a single Matoran.

Very carefully, soldiers from the Luna Magnan Royal Army were able to remove the Matoran from the crystal. She soon awoke, completely healthy. Gringat was astonished as she was the first new Matoran on Luna Magna since before the departure of the Great Beings. He took the young Matoran under his wing, and named her 'Leimera' which roughly translates to 'Daughter of Moonlight' in the Matoran language. Later, he named her as his heir to the Throne, thus making her the Princess of Luna Magna.

It was later discovered that Leimera was a pure Matoran of Moonlight, which prompted Gringat to have Leimera transformed into a Toa to rule alongside him.

As princess of Luna Magna, Leimera is second only to Gringat in the chain of command. However, she isn't as interested in ruling Luna Magna as Gringat is. Even so, she remains at his side to learn the ins-and-outs of running the Kingdom.

Abilities & Tools

Due to Leimera coming into being purely as a Matoran of Moonlight, she did not have to undergo training to unlock her Moonlight Elemental powers.

As a Toa of Moonlight, Leimera can create, control, and absorb Moonlight and Moonlight Elemental Energy. Moonlight is an advanced form of the Element of Light found exclusively on Luna Magna. It is roughly twice as powerful as normal Light energy.

Leimera doesn’t carry any traditional Toa equipment or tools, Instead, she fights exclusively with Moonlight energy blasts. If necessary, she can also create hard-light shields out of Moonlight.

Leimera wears a powerless Kanohi Avohkii, the Great Mask of Light, which was carved from the Moonlight Crystal that had originally encased her.

Personality

Leimera is highly intelligent, typically spending her time researching Moonlight Energy Crystals and their many uses. She has a very friendly and calm demeanor, and is much more peaceful than her King. She deeply treasures the friendships she makes, including some of the Royal Guard, most notably Cossy.
