Cossy fought as a mercenary during Luna Magna's Mining War, while still just a Matoran. When Gringat established the Kingdom of Luna Magna and began to win the Mining War, he recruited Cossy, and used Moonlight energy crystals to transform him, and several other Matoran, into Toa.

Due to his rare elemental powers for a Luna Magnan, Cossy was quickly given a position of prominence within the Luna Magnan Royal Army, and eventually rose to become the First Officer. He held this position for years, until the Dimensional Relocation of Luna Magna. After banishing Callan, the previous Captain of the Guard, King Gringat reorganized the top ranks of his army and appointed Cossy as the new Captain of the Guard. Cossy was deeply saddened when he discovered what had become of his old friend, but decided to remain loyal to Gringat regardless.

Abilities & Tools

As a Toa of Lightning, Cossy can create, control, and absorb Lightning and Lightning Elemental energy.

As a Luna Magnan, Cossy has the ability to control the element of Moonlight locked within him. However, this ability can only be used after extremely strenuous training, which Cossy has not finished.

Cossy wields a Lightning Broadsword and a Longbow. Both weapons can be infused with his elemental power.

Cossy wears a Kanohi Kutaku, the Great Mask of Supersonic Flight, which grants him the ability to fly at supersonic speeds.

Personality

Cossy is level-headed, intelligent, and all-around pleasant to be around. He is also loyal to Gringat, even though he does not always agree with his methods. According to Leimera, despite his intelligence, he sometimes lacks general common sense.
