Mynus fought as a mercenary during Luna Magna's Mining War, while still just a Matoran. When Gringat established the Kingdom of Luna Magna and began to win the Mining War, he recruited Mynus, and used Moonlight energy crystals to transform him, and several other Matoran, into Toa.

Due to his rare elemental powers for a Luna Magnan, Mynus was quickly given a position of prominence within the Luna Magnan Royal Army, and eventually rose to become the Third Officer. He held this position for years, until the Dimensional Relocation of Luna Magna. 

After banishing Cajdan, King Gringat reorganized the top ranks of his army and appointed Mynus as the new First Officer. Mynus was delighted by his sudden promotion, and has since become extremely loyal to Gringat.

Abilities & Tools

As a Toa of Magnetism, Mynus can create, control, and absorb Magnetic Energy. He can also manipulate Magnetic Fields and Magnetic Metals. He has begun training to use his Moonlight abilities, but has not unlocked them yet.

Mynus wields a staff that can be imbued with both Magnetic and Moonlight Energy, which allows it to create an Electromagnetic Pulse. The staff also allows him to focus his Magnetism Powers.

Mynus wears a Kanohi Volitak, the Great Mask of Stealth.

Personality

Mynus is extremely loyal to the Kingdom, and very obedient to King Gringat. He has a serious demeanor, and is constantly trying to prove his strength to his superiors.
