Raxus was recruited to the Order of Mata Nui after a battle with Flandrex resulted in a massive number of casualties to the Order. Due to his rare elemental abilities, Raxus was sought out by an Order spy and presented the offer to join, to which he accepted.

Raxus was brought to Daxia and transformed into a Toa. He would go on to join the Military Division, and become the Top Soldier in the Division.

Later in his life, Raxus would lose part of his right arm and leg in a battle, thus crippling his usefulness as a soldier. The Order placed him on guard duty while he recovered, which he did not appreciate.

Eventually, Raxus would lose most of his enthusiasm to serve the Order. Because of this, he stole a top-secret prototype cannon from the Order of Mata Nui, and used leftover parts from it to build a wing-pack.

Abilities & Tools

As a Toa of Plasma, Raxus can create, control, and absorb plasma and Plasma Elemental energy. He can also superheat the air around him. While he can fire blasts of plasma from his hands, he typically prefers to channel his powers through his weapons. 

Like all other members of the Order of Mata Nui, Raxus' mind is shielded from mental attack.

Raxus typically wields a Plasma Pistol, and a Plasma Shotgun. These weapons focus Raxus' powers into highly accurate blasts of plasma.

In his Black Sun form, Raxus has a prosthetic peg leg, which is armed with a small rocket.

He later came into possession of a prototype cannon, which he attached to what remained of his right arm. The cannon is a top-secret Order of Mata Nui prototype which was their attempt at reverse engineering Mars' Master Spark. While heavily modified by the Order, this is the exact machine that Karzahni used to cause the Dimensional Relocation of Luna Magna. Even though its massive in size, it can barely amplify energy at the same rate as the Master Spark.

Raxus also built a wing-pack from leftover parts of the cannon. The wing-pack grants him the ability to fly, and he can also fire plasma from the barrels at the end of the wings.

Raxus wears a Kanohi Hau, the Great Mask of Shielding.

Personality

Raxus is a loyal, enthusiastic soldier in the Order, and he has great respect for the Order's leadership. He's somewhat quirky, and enjoys big guns and explosions. He's also known to have a fiery temper, which earned him the nickname 'Solar Soldier.'

As an Order of Mata Nui member, Raxus' actions have often been in violation of the Toa Code. Raxus keeps the guilt from his actions buried deep down, but it continues to weigh on his spirit heavily.
